Tasos Dourmousoglou's Karagiozis comes to stir the waters of Corfu for the first time with a crazy adventure, with colorful figures and props, imaginative effects that will fascinate even the most demanding viewer.

The show is adapted from a traditional shadow theatre story. Karagiozis has always wanted to travel and see the world, but he has never been given the opportunity to do so.But once the opportunity presented itself and with good money, he did not hesitate to lie about being a captain in order to realize what he always dreamed of since he was a little boy. He undertook, with Barba-George as co-pilot, to take a ship with rich merchandise to distant ports in the Caribbean. Bad weather conditions will put an end to their journey. Their good luck will help them not to get crushed on the rocks, but they will be shipwrecked on a strange island run by pirates.Will our hunched friend and his uncle Barbagiorgos manage to escape from the pirates and reach the Caribbean? Our folk hero is waiting for young and old to entertain them with his jokes and adventures.
