For a unique night on Saturday, May 7th in Athens, ELECTRIC UNIVERSE from Berlin!!!! Boris Blenn is the man behind the trance project Electric Universe (with Roland "Chico" Wedig on guitars) and more recently also the techno collaboration of Blenn & Gleich with a great debut EP on Dnox's Plastik Park label. He is also a member of the ESP group with Olli Wisdom of Space Tribe.
Electric Universe was founded in 1991 in Hamburg, Germany. Inspired by the first big parties of the Voov Experience, some of its first psytrance-oriented tracks were first discovered by DJ Antaro, who had just started his Spirit Zone label. Electric Universe's maxi single "Solar Energy" was the second release on Spirit Zone. It proved to be a huge success and set the stage for the first album "One Love" in 1994. As more and more Trance parties took place Electric Universe started to play, mainly in Germany at first, later all over the world.
With more than 150,000 album sales and around 10,000,000 views on YouTube alone, Boris is one of the top producers in the scene. The core of Electric Universe's productions and performances should be infectious, uplifting energy. The most beautiful recipe that evokes bliss and naturally gets people dancing and having fun.
