The iconic monologue "Harley's Jacket" will be presented in the upcoming theatrical season by Erofili Productions in Thessaloniki and Athens and on tour throughout Greece

The masterpiece text by Vassilis Katsikonouris comes to life again on stage, with Marianna Toumasatou and the stage direction of Alexandros Stavrou.

A very touching narrative, a unique theatrical experience that reminds us that every era has its own needs and young people will always need someone to support them in order to fly free towards their future, without being in danger and lost.

A monologue - a weeping monologue of a woman on the borderline between cruelty and tenderness, wisdom and madness, comedy and tragedy. She speaks to her lively son who keeps watch at the memorial of the unknown soldier. Across from her he, willing or unwilling, will listen to her; in the past when his mother spoke to him he would flee, now he is defenseless before her.

Defenseless too, she has only an umbrella to hide under as a shelter from reality. And when reality doesn't suit her, her umbrella saves her again like the tightrope walker.

To keep on balancing again on its metacrisis. On the painful edge of "Again, a rope on which we all float, every day.

Marianna Toumassatou performs in this role. She comes and goes at both ends of the rope, sometimes as a mother, sometimes as a girl.
