based on the well-known play by CAROLOS DIKENS
"SCROOGE AND THE SPIRITS OF THE HOLIDAYS"
Direction & Theatrical Adaptation: KELLY STAMOULAKIS
The Christmas Story has a special place in the literature of world literature.
After all, CAROLOS DICKENS is considered one of the greatest writers of all time.
WHAT MESSAGE DO YOUNG & OLD RECEIVE?
It is very important the message that the children receive from the story of the greedy SCRUTZ, who, after the intervention of the three spirits who reveal to him the ugliness of his life, is transformed into a good-natured man who wants to share his property with his fellow human beings. Especially in these difficult times in which we live and must support each other in order to survive, the message of the great Dickens seems all the more urgent and necessary.
A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE PROJECT
Christmas 1843, Ebenezer Scrooge is a miserly, miserly old miser who hates Christmas and the holidays and all they stand for. On the night of the eve, SCRUTZ gets an uninvited visit from a spirit, his former partner JACOB MARLEY a miserly miser like SCRUTZ. He warns him that if he doesn't change his way of thinking by looking at things more pleasantly with a different eye, he will end up like him, doomed to eternal torment... That same night three more spirits will visit the grumpy and selfish SKRUTZ, those of Christmas past, present and future... whose mistakes they point out... After this experience, Christmas Day dawns finding a different SKRUTZ....
