The Hate
Cine Christina-Crete

Synopsis: After a chaotic night of rioting in a marginal suburb of Paris, three young friends, Vinz, Hubert and Said, wander around idly waiting for news of the health of a mutual friend who has been seriously injured during a confrontation with the police. Mathieu Cassovitch's wildly successful iconic film, which first turned its gaze to the fringes of the French capital, won an award for its direction at the Cannes Film Festival and became a reference point for an entire youth culture that to this day finds its voice in it. Thirty years after its first screening, it remains resoundingly relevant.
