CAPODISTRIES

The film "Kapodistrias" is a historical film set in the early 19th century and tells the true story of the greatest Greek politician and first Governor of Greece, Ioannis Kapodistrias, after its liberation from the Ottomans. He defends with vigour, kindness and dignity the freedom of every man, sacrificing even the great love of his life, and does not hesitate to clash with the forces of evil, sacrificing wealth, fame and international recognition. When Greece gains its freedom, Kapodistrias is called upon to become the first Governor. Although he senses that he will be assassinated, he accepts his fate and sacrifices himself, serving his country with loyalty and devotion. This sacrifice leads him to true freedom.
