IMMF 2025: The handmade film festival returns

For the fifteenth year, the International Micro m Festival remains faithful to its autumn rendezvous. The festival that has been embraced in Greece and abroad returns with even more energy, from September 25 to 27, traveling its "small" films to Athens, Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Veria, Rethymno, but also to major European capitals such as Copenhagen and Paris.

With live screenings simultaneously in all theatres, Micro m continues to create a unique experience of collective cinematic celebration, made with the love, immediacy and handmade character that has made it special for fifteen years.

Competition - The big night
On Saturday, September 27, at 18:30, viewers in all the cities of the festival will watch 15 short films by Greek filmmakers and vote live for their favourite film. Audience participation is at the core of the festival, as it is what determines the final outcome of the event, thus maintaining the direct, collective and participatory nature of the festival.

Student & International Part
MicroM continues to support young filmmakers through the Student Competition, where twelve films will compete for the title of "Favorite Student Film".
At the same time, in the International section, viewers will discover 10 award-winning films from the world festival circuit, all of them in their first screening in Greece.
The prizes that will be awarded to the winners of the Competition and the Student section are of a total value of over 3.000 € offered by the festival's organizing committee and the companies RGB studios and ABFAB Productions.

- Student:
Seeking to give impetus to young filmmakers, we have established in recent years the screening of 12 student films from which the microm audience chooses the "Favorite Microm Student Film" of each year. The award for the favorite student film will focus on facilitating the creative process of the filmmakers.
