On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the birth of Mikis Theodorakis, two contemporary artists: the singer Krinthis Zira and the actress-radio producer Marietta Spiliopoulou, in co-organization with the D.P.E.T.E. Corfu and the participation of the Municipal Choir "San Giacomo", unite their art to present an original music-theatrical tribute that stands out. Not just another concert. Not an ordinary biographical narrative. But a live podcast on stage, in a performance that will take the audience on a journey through the lesser-known aspects of the iconic composer's life and work. An experience unlike any other: a narrative made into music and music brought to life through words.

Between the songs, the viewer hears short live narratives - like short audio documentaries - with unknown stories behind the songs, moments from Theodorakis' life, illuminated with love and respect. Stories that we may never have heard before and that bring us closer not only to the work, but also to the man. At the heart of Theodorakis' lyrical creation - his deep poetic side, which often remained in the shadow of his political action Narratives that illuminate the background of the creation, the times and the people behind the works, offering the audience a new, more personal relationship with the repertoire.

Music thus becomes an experiential experience, and the performance a living tribute to a creator who left an indelible mark on history and our collective feeling.

A creator who united the popular experience with poetry and high art.

The simplicity of the musical accompaniment of the favourite songs is not a limitation, but an aesthetic and artistic choice.

Respecting the wish of the creator Miki Theodorakis (his works to be given to the Greek people free of charge), the entrance to the performance is free.
