The Queen of Beauty | Corfu Stage
Municipal Theatre of Corfu | Small Stage

The Corfiot Stage presents the play by Martin McDonagh "The Queen of Beauty" directed by Nota Darmani
"The Beauty Queen" by Irish playwright Martin McDonagh is one of the most important works of contemporary world drama and it is this that gave him, at the age of 26, worldwide recognition. His writing raises issues of human relationships, loneliness, domestic violence, the dependent relationship between parents and children, immigration, and love. He focuses on an abusive relationship between a mother and daughter trapped in a hellish home and on love that gives hope and light in the darkness.
At the New Stage of the Municipal Theatre from Thursday 24 March daily (except Tuesday 29 March) until Monday 4 April at 21:00.
