Premise: Sixty years after fleeing Nazi Vienna for the United States, Maria Altmann attempts to recover her stolen family heirlooms, including one of Gustav Klimt's most iconic paintings that has been on display for decades at Austria's Belvedere Gallery. With the help of a young lawyer, Altmann embarks on a major legal battle to restore the cultural heritage.
