This summer the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra returns to the Old Fortress of Corfu.
On Tuesday 8 August, under the musical direction of Dionysis Grammenos, the young musicians of the ELSON will perform three great works of the symphonic repertoire: the symphonic poem "Prometheus" by Franz Liszt, the Concerto for Trombone and Orchestra by Launy Grøndahl, as well as the Symphony No.1 in C minor, Op.68, by Johannes Brahms. Guest soloist is the multi-award-winning Achilleas Liarmakopoulos.
The concert is a co-production of ELSON and D.P.E.T.E.T.E. of Corfu and is supported by Kerkyra Lines, Domes Resorts and Marbella Corfu.
