Women Kalamata
Workers' Centre of Kalamata

The performance Sold out of Corfu
now also in Kalamata.
from 4 to 6 January 2024
at the EMPLOYEE CENTER OF CALAMATAS.
The Ionian Theatre presents for 4 unique performances
the new, original, subversive Comedy by Peter Avgerinos:
"WOMEN, the story of a statue when it falls from its base
or "Donkey's Tail Don't Drip"
Two sisters, both victims of brutal domestic violence, meet
again after years of taking diametrically opposed paths.
A cohabitation that has its "difficulties" anyway. Today, however,
the day of the unveiling of the statue of their father general,
in a comical and unexpected way, everything will be turned upside down...
A light, atmospheric comedy that "winks at the viewer" and
exposes the lies, the secrets, the silences, the absurdity, the hypocrisy,
highlighting the role and mission of women in modern life.
A work of consolation. A hymn for his wife today.
Starring Stefie Poulopoulos, Dora Papanikolaou,
DANDOLO FLOSS.
The direction is by Petros Avgerinos and the original music is by
Calliroy Rauzaiou. Assistant director is Apostolos Karabelias.
