Viki Giannoula (voice, piano) and Kostis Kritsotakis (piano) with boldness and thirst dive into the untamed waters of love<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>performing American musical theatre (<\/span><\/span><\/span>Maury<\/span><\/span> Yeston<\/span><\/span>), contemporary Greek song (Kostis Kritsotakis) and classical piano works (<\/span><\/span><\/span>Tchaikovsky<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Prokofiev<\/span><\/span>) in a highly original, romantic and courageous programme. Music flooded with emotions.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>A concert of passion. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Viki Giannoula was born in Corfu and has an international artistic career in classical piano and contemporary singing. She has performed in piano concerts, chamber music and as a soloist with orchestras in world-renowned venues abroad such as <\/span><\/span><\/span>Queen<\/span><\/span> Elizabeth<\/span><\/span> Hall<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Royal<\/span><\/span> Albert<\/span><\/span> Hall<\/span><\/span>, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Kings<\/span><\/span> Place<\/span><\/span> and <\/span><\/span><\/span>Llangollen<\/span><\/span> Pavilion<\/span><\/span>, but also in Greece at venues such as the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the Athens College, the Municipal Theatre of Corfu, the Vafopouleio Cultural Centre and the Melina Mercouri Museum, among others. Her discography includes two recordings of piano works by <\/span><\/span><\/span>Beethoven<\/span><\/span>\/<\/span><\/span><\/span>Czerny<\/span><\/span> and <\/span><\/span><\/span>Shostakovich<\/span><\/span> in a first world performance. He has collaborated with many internationally renowned artists such as Leonidas Kavakos, the <\/span><\/span><\/span>Joseph<\/span><\/span> Calleja<\/span><\/span>, \u03bf <\/span><\/span><\/span>Peter<\/span><\/span> Jablonski<\/span><\/span> and Maria Farantouri. Alongside her stage activity, Viki Giannoula is Head of the academic department of the international music organization <\/span><\/span><\/span>Music<\/span><\/span> Teachers<\/span><\/span>' <\/span><\/span><\/span>Board<\/span><\/span>, Director of the educational organisation <\/span><\/span><\/span>Hackney<\/span><\/span> Youth<\/span><\/span> Orchestras<\/span><\/span> Trust<\/span><\/span> and Director of the artistic office <\/span><\/span><\/span>Akouson<\/span><\/span> Classical<\/span><\/span> Artists<\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Kostis Kritsotakis was born in Athens. For a time he studied with Manos Hadjidakis and continued with postgraduate studies in composition and composition for film in England. <\/span><\/span>He has written operas, ballets, cantatas, works for orchestra, chamber music, songs, choral works, as well as music for theatre and cinema. <\/span><\/span>New<\/span><\/span> Paths<\/span><\/span> in<\/span><\/span> Music<\/span><\/span> New York, the Albany Symphony Orchestra of New York, the Chicago Concertante Orchestra, the Karlsruhe State Opera, etc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
