Tonight's concert -opera gala with arias and asymbols from the classical lyrical repertoire<\/strong><\/em>- has taken its name from the educational programme\u00a0\"The Youth of the Opera\"\u00a0<\/strong>in which the soloists of the evening participated at the beginning of their professional careers.\u00a0\"The Youth of the Opera\"<\/strong>\u00a0was an initiative of\u00a0National Opera of Greece (ELS)<\/strong>\u00a0with the main objective of offering the opportunity to young artists, who have completed their studies, to take their first professional steps and test themselves in a real working environment, in order to gain significant experience under the guidance and supervision of established artists and professionals. The skills they acquired during their participation in this programme have helped them substantially to become skilled professionals, fully responsive to the modern demands of the\u00a0Lyric Theatre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the opera gala concert with arias and ensembles from the classical lyrical repertoire that has taken its name from the educational programme\u00a0\"The Youth of the Opera\"\u00a0<\/strong>participates the soprano\u00a0Anna Tselika<\/strong>, the bass-baritone\u00a0<\/strong>George Papadimitriou<\/strong>, the tenor\u00a0Christos Delizonas<\/strong>, the soprano\u00a0Eleni Komni<\/strong>\u00a0and the pianist\u00a0Spyros Souladakis.<\/strong><\/p>\n

BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anna Tselika<\/em>
\nMesophone - born in Thessaloniki where he was born and received\u00a0diploma in monody<\/strong>\u00a0(class of Chionati Gina). She continued her studies at\u00a0Hirnaisad<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Sweden<\/strong>\u00a0with the\u00a0Jean-Ronal Lafont<\/strong>, where she appeared in roles such as Charlotte (Vertheros<\/em>), Carmen (Carmen<\/em>), Sesto (The magnanimity of Titus<\/em>), Roswice (The Valkyries<\/em>). He was a member of the\u00a0Opera Studio of the Greek National Opera (2017\/18)<\/strong>, playing the role of Dorabella (So do all<\/em>). More recently it appeared in\u00a0Kanterstek<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Switzerland<\/strong>\u00a0as Third Lady and Third Boy (The Magic Flute<\/em>). He or she shall hold\u00a0degree in French Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki<\/strong>, as well as\u00a0senior theorists<\/strong>\u00a0(class of Konstantinos Kyriakidis).<\/p>\n

George Papadimitriou<\/em>
\nBasobarbitone<\/strong>\u00a0- he began to study\u00a0piano<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0higher theoretical<\/strong>\u00a0at the age of five. Retrieved from\u00a0diploma in monody<\/strong>\u00a0with Martha Arapis (2010), being at the same time an extraordinary\u00a0chorus<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0ELS\u00a0<\/strong>and in\u00a0ERT<\/strong>. Continue reading\u00a0postgraduate studies<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0USA<\/strong>\u00a0(City University of New York, IKY scholarship<\/em>), where he began his solo career performing, among others, Dr. Cajus (The merry ladies of Windsor<\/em>) and Dr. Grenvil (Traviata<\/em>) with the Delaware Valley Opera, as well as Colline (Bohemia<\/em>) and Figaro (The marriages of Figaro<\/em>) with Regina Opera. He completed his studies at the\u00a0Music Academy W\u00fcrzburg<\/strong>\u00a0with the\u00a0Cheryl Studer<\/strong>. The artistic period\u00a02016\/17<\/strong>\u00a0first sang with\u00a0National Opera of Reno<\/strong>\u00a0as a member of the\u00a0Opera Studio<\/strong>, while from\u00a02018<\/strong>\u00a0has performed as a soloist with\u00a0ELS<\/strong>\u00a0in the productions\u00a0\u0396<\/em>,\u00a0The princess and the pea<\/em>,\u00a0The Sleepwalker<\/em>,\u00a0Don Carlo<\/em>,\u00a0Europeras<\/em>,\u00a0Madama Butterfly<\/em>,\u00a0The magic pillows<\/em>,\u00a0The Slayer<\/em>, the\u00a0Tales of Hoffman<\/em>,\u00a0Gianni Schicchi<\/em>, etc.
\nApart from the operatic stage, he has performed in concerts\u00a0Musical<\/strong>\u00a0(Christmas & New Year's Gala - Athens Concert Hall<\/em>) and\u00a0Above<\/strong>\u00a0(The Cretan Girl - Olympia Theatre \"Maria Callas\"<\/em>) with the\u00a0Athens State Orchestra<\/strong>, the\u00a0Music Ensembles of ERT\u00a0<\/strong>& its\u00a0Municipality of Athens<\/strong>, and has sung under the baton of great conductors such as: Loukas Karytinos, Philippe Auguin, Michalis Economou, Vassilis Christopoulos, Marcellus Chrysicopoulos, Giorgos Petrou, Dionysis Grammenos, etc.
\nFinally, it is\u00a0doctoral candidate<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0Department of Music Studies<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0NSCA<\/strong>\u00a0in the field of \"acoustics of the voiceless voice<\/em>\".<\/p>\n

Christos Delizonas<\/em>
\nTenor\u00a0<\/strong>- completed his studies by obtaining a diploma\u00a0monody<\/strong>\u00a0with George Soutis. He has attended\u00a0masterclasses<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0music seminars<\/strong>\u00a0and singing with Th. Antoniou, M. Loyadi, G. Kouroupos, Dimitris Papadimitriou, Medea Iasonidou, D. Kavrakos, W. Fraccaro, P. Svenson, P. Wedd, V. Chatzisimo, T. Christogiannopoulos, D. Tiliakos, etc. At the beginning of the\u00a02020<\/strong>\u00a0in the framework of the programme of\u00a0E.E. \"Opera Out Of Opera\"<\/strong>\u00a0sang in collaboration with\u00a0Academy of Santa Cecilia\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0Rome<\/strong>\u00a0and the\u00a0Mozarteum Music Academy<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0Salzburg<\/strong>, in\u00a0Pamplona<\/strong>\u00a0and in\u00a0Salzburg<\/strong>\u00a0under the direction of tenor Mario Dias and conductor Michelangelo Galeatti. From the\u00a02008<\/strong>\u00a0cooperates with the\u00a0National Lyric Opera<\/strong>\u00a0having made cover famous\u00a0tenors<\/strong>\u00a0in leading roles such as MANRICO (IL TROVATORE - Walter Fraccaro - Herodesion 2017<\/em>) and ALFREDO (LA TRAVIATA - Saimir Pirgu - Herodesion 2019<\/em>).
\nHe has performed the roles of Luigi (IL TABARRO, Puccini<\/em>) and Idomeneus in the homonymous\u00a0opera\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0Mozart<\/strong>\u00a0with the orchestra of\u00a0ELS<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0Main Stage\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0K.P. Stavros Niarchos Foundation<\/strong>\u00a0in the framework of the programme of\u00a0GNO \"The Youth of the Opera\"<\/strong>. He has also performed Don Jose (CARMEN, Bizet<\/em>) with the Orchestra of the Municipality of Athens, main roles in operas by Greek composers such as G. Hadjinasiou (EL GREKO<\/em>) by K. Moustakas (STAXOMAZOCHTRA<\/em>) as well as oratorios and Requiems (Mozart, Brukner, Charpentier, Saint-Saens etc.<\/em>) in places like the\u00a0Athens Concert Hall<\/strong>,\u00a0Herodesion<\/strong>,\u00a0The Roof of Arts and Letters<\/strong>,\u00a0Municipal Theatre of Piraeus<\/strong>, etc., as well as in\u00a0Vasiliki\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0St. Peter's\u00a0<\/strong>at\u00a0Vatican<\/strong>. He has collaborated with orchestras such as\u00a0MOZARTEUM Academy<\/strong>,\u00a0ELS<\/strong>,\u00a0ERT<\/strong>,\u00a0Municipality of Athens<\/strong>,\u00a0ELSON<\/strong>, with important orchestra conductors\u00a0(Michelangelo Galeatti, Loukas Karytino, Dionysis Grammenos, George Petrou etc.<\/em>) and directors (Graham Vick, Stefano Poda, Spyros Evangelatos, Themelis Glinatsis, etc.<\/em>). Finally, he has sung live on\u00a0Third Programme\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0ERT<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Eleni Komni<\/em>
\nSoprano<\/strong>\u00a0- was born in Thessaloniki and began her studies in music at an early age. She studied\u00a0piano<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0theoretically<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0Macedonian Conservatory of Thessaloniki<\/strong>. The\u00a02015<\/strong>\u00a0received the\u00a0Diploma in Monody<\/strong>\u00a0(class of Marialena Panagiotopoulou) with\u00a0Excellent Unanimous<\/em>\u00a0while the\u00a02016<\/strong>\u00a0acquired the\u00a0Diploma in Melodrama\u00a0<\/strong>from the\u00a0Thessaloniki State Conservatory of Music\u00a0<\/strong>(class of Akis Lalusi). The season\u00a02017-2018<\/strong>\u00a0participated in the\u00a0Young Artists Programme<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0National Opera of Greece<\/strong>. He then continued his studies at the\u00a0Italian lyrical repertoire<\/strong>\u00a0in musical institutions in Italy such as the\u00a0Accademia Bel Canto Martina Franca\u00a0<\/strong>and the\u00a0Accademia Mascagni\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0Goldoni Theatre in Livorno<\/strong>.
\nHe has sung in theatres such as the\u00a0Teatro San Carlo di Napoli<\/em>, the\u00a0Auditorium Parco della Musica<\/em>\u00a0in Rome, the\u00a0National Lyric Opera<\/em>, the Teatro Goldoni di Livorno<\/em>, the\u00a0Teatro Giordano di Foggia<\/em>, the\u00a0Festival Valle d' Itria<\/em>, etc. He has interpreted, among others, the roles of\u00a0Contessa\/Le nozze di Figaro<\/em>,\u00a0Donna Anna\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Donna Elvira\/Don Giovanni<\/em>,\u00a0Fiordiligi\/Cos\u00ec fan tutte<\/em>,\u00a0Prima Dama\/Il flauto magico<\/em>,\u00a0Suor Angelica\/Suor Angelica<\/em>,\u00a0Idamante\/Idomeneo<\/em>,\u00a0Nedda\/Pagliacci<\/em>,\u00a0Adina\/L' elisir d' amore<\/em>,\u00a0Micaela\/Carmen<\/em>,\u00a0Cathleen\/Riders<\/em>\u00a0to the sea<\/em>,\u00a0Filena\/Gli amori d' Apollo e di Daphne<\/em>,\u00a0Noemie\/Cendrillon<\/em>. Soon she will debut her role\u00a0Mimi\/La Boheme<\/em>\u00a0at\u00a0Festival Internazionale di Portofino<\/strong>.
\nHe has collaborated with orchestra conductors (Donato Renzetti, Leone Maniera, Angelo Cavallaro, Germano Neri, Michalis Economou, Dionysis Grammenos, Vladimir Simeonidis, etc.<\/em>), and has actively participated in\u00a0masterclasses<\/strong>\u00a0with artists such as Raina Kabaivanska, Anna Tomova-Sintow, Cheryl Studer, Barbara Frittoli, Roberto Servile, Daphne Evangelatou, etc.<\/p>\n

Spyros Souladakis<\/strong><\/em>
\nSpyros Souladakis (pianist, music teacher<\/strong>) gives numerous\u00a0piano concerts<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0chamber music<\/strong>\u00a0in Greece and abroad. It is\u00a0piano graduate<\/strong>\u00a0(Excellent and 1st Prize, Piraeus Conservatory of the Piraeus Association<\/em>) and a graduate of\u00a0Royal College of Music<\/strong>\u00a0of\u00a0London<\/strong>. She has studied with John Blakely, Nigel Clayton, Marina Kooutouvalis and Ida Margaritis. Owns\u00a0degrees in Fugue, Counterbalance\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Harmony<\/strong>. He has participated and attended\u00a0seminars<\/strong>\u00a0with internationally renowned teachers and piano soloists (Paul Badura Skoda, Aleksandar Raichev, Pierre Boulez, Murray Perahia etc.<\/em>) and has been distinguished in\u00a0international competitions<\/strong>\u00a0in Greece and abroad. His educational activities include, among others, the following\u00a0theatrical performances<\/strong>,\u00a0music workshops<\/strong>,\u00a0choral festivals<\/strong>, in which it has taken over the\u00a0artistic curator<\/strong>, the\u00a0Composition<\/strong>\u00a0\u03ae\u00a0arrangement of musical works<\/strong>, the\u00a0orchestration<\/strong>, at the same time as his participation as\u00a0pianist<\/strong>.
