On 20 October 2010, the extraordinary monologue "Notary" by Nikos Vassiliadis, directed by Giorgos Karamichou with Yraud Manet in the most thrilling performance of her career. 11 years later, the tragic comedy that touched, troubled, loved by the audience and received rave reviews, comes to the Municipal Theatre of Corfu for two anniversary performances, the Friday 5 and Saturday 6 November.

A performance of apology and confession that takes us to another era.

Erastia, a widowed woman, raises her only daughter, trapped in her kiosk and in the stifling environment of a provincial town full of taboos, stereotypes and prejudices that do not allow her to desire, to fall in love, and ultimately to live.

It is a grave offense for her to desire what she should not. The temptation is in her own house. He is her son-in-law. He goes by the name of Argyris, short but qualified. And how can Erasmus go against her libido? Evil is not long in coming... She desires the forbidden. And when she dares to provoke it, the punishment is swift and devastating.

Spectators, including minors twelve (12) years of age and older, are admitted upon compulsory presentation at the entrance:

[a] a vaccination certificate, in accordance with par. 2 of Article 10 of Article 10 of No 1

relevant, or

[b] a certificate of sickness issued thirty (30) days after the first positive test and valid until one hundred and eighty (180) days thereafter, in accordance with par. 3 of Article 10 of Article 10 of the relevant Combined Order No. 1:

[c] a police identity card or driving licence or passport or other proof of identity in order to carry out identity checks on the above under [a] and [b].

The above certificates, under [a] and [b], are presented either in hard copy (printed), or electronically via the viewer's mobile device, which the owner or legal representative of the business (or authorized person) scans electronically via the special application of article 33 of Law No. 4816/2021 (Α ́ 118) Covid Free GR.

Alternatively, a foreigner coming from a third country (outside the European Union), the persons of the previous subparagraph shall check the above certificates in colour form.

Minor spectators between the ages of four (4) and eleven (11) years old, must alternatively submit a self-diagnostic screening statement self–test of the last 24 hours, which shall be made either by any parent, even if he/she does not have custody, or by a guardian, in accordance with par. 3 of Article 10 of Article 10 of Regulation No 1. The physical presence of the parent or guardian is not required.
