'Ecstasy | On the one hand I move

The I MOVE ALONE in a new venture. This is the first stage adaptation of Menelaus Loudemis' lyrical novel "EXTENSION", a very special and different project in its conception and unfolding from the rest. The author himself describes this work as a "mythophanasia" as it reveals his quest for the meaning of life, happiness, ideal love, loneliness, the inevitability of death, the role of art in life...

• I don't know how much I loved you in another life, in this one I could only love you so much...

• "An insect came and sat on my arm. Can I die?" he asked me. "No," I replied, "because I love."

• Have you ever sat down to listen on a quiet night? No. It's because that's when she hears us. A night blind, maybe even dead.... Nights of white moons, mavens, nights of ebony.  

The action is framed with movement and contemporary dance accompanied by an original musical composition, while an actor will embody different roles, a fact dictated by the special language, lyrical tenderness and experiential writing of Menelaos Loudemis. So, as bold and challenging as the project was, it was also challenging.
