A Unique Musical Evening : Concert of the Bandina of the Corfu Philharmonic Society with the Rock School Corfu!

The main stage of the Municipal Theatre of Corfu was flooded with energy, rhythm and music, as the Bandina of the Philharmonic Society of Corfu (Palea), in collaboration with the Rock School Corfu, presented a concert that made history!

With the audience filling the hall to capacity, the evening turned out to be a sold-out success, captivating the audience from the first note to the last applause.

The concert was divided into two parts, offering an exciting musical journey. In the first part, the programme included original orchestral compositions and film music, with the captivating solo performances of Eva Katsouri (flute) and Christos Argyros (trombone).

In the second part, the stage was transformed into an electrifying rock stage, dedicated to Greek Rock Music. Under the artistic supervision of Dimitris Dourtme and Christina Metallinou, the young musicians of Rock School Corfu, in perfect harmony with the Bandina of the Philharmonic, stirred up the audience, creating a unique atmosphere.

Timeless rock hits, inspired arrangements and explosive energy turned the night into an unforgettable experience, with the audience singing and applauding non-stop!

Under the musical direction of the chief conductor Spyros Prosoparis, the concert went beyond the limits of a simple musical event. It confirmed that music has the power to unite generations and bridge musical genres, creating magical moments.

The sold-out success of the concert confirmed the public's love for the Philharmonic Bandina and Rock School Corfu, leaving promises for even bigger musical evenings in the future.
