"The Laundromat" - A Dystopian Experience by Vox Nova on Tour in Greece

Η vox nova makes a dynamic return to the theatre stage with the much-discussed performance "The Laundromat" by Thanasis Triaridis. The play, which made a sensation for its boldness and ingenuity, begins its journey for the second year and promises to move and awaken viewers in every corner of the country, with stops in Corfu, Patras, Igoumenitsa, Ioannina and Athens.

A story that starts from the familiar and leads the audience down uncharted, dark paths. Two women, three meetings, and a washing machine are transformed into a canvas where questions about society, ethics and evolution intersect. Viewers witness a shocking arena, a world where the eugenics and criminal choices of "good people" are brutally exposed.

With a staging approach that challenges the mind and the senses, the Vox Nova team promises to inspire and shock the audience, as it does in every production. The play is signed by Sofia Linospori and Konstantina Mavropoulou in direction and performance, while the original music composition and sound design belong to Mantos Damigos. The atmosphere is rounded off by the impressive lighting designed by Antonis Chondrogiannis.
