After a summer tour throughout Greece, full of smiles, laughter and sold-out performances, the Theatre of the North returns to Athens with a performance that has already won the hearts of young and old alike.
The world's most famous detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his devoted friend, Dr. Watson., are back on stage to take us on an adventure full of mystery, action and... an amazing dog-hero, the Toby!
The children's theatrical performance "Sherlock Holmes and the Treasure of Agra" based on the classic play by Arthur Conan Doyle The Sign of the Four, but giving it a fresh, fun and subversive dimension.
From the very first moment, viewers are transported to the dark alleys of London, to secret maps and codes, to unlikely twists and turns, and to humorous dialogue that keeps them interested.And of course, all with the help of Toby - the most intrepid detective dog who steals the show with his humour and wit.
The story begins when the young Mary Morstan asks for the help of Sherlock Holmes. A mysterious shipper sends her unexplained gifts, leading her - and Sherlock and Watson with her - to a lost treasure.
But they are not the only ones looking for him.
The dangerous Jonathan Small watches their every move and is ready to do anything to get his hands on this treasure.
Amidst twists, turns, thrills and hilarious moments, the audience becomes a companion in this "crazy" treasure hunt, discovering with the heroes the magic of cooperation, logic and adventure.
