Miltos Paschalidis & Symphony Orchestra of the Ionian Islands: a magical evening at the Old Fortress of Corfu

The Saturday 28 June, η Corfu lived a musical experience that is hard to describe in words. Ο Miltos Paschalidis, on the occasion of his 30 years in the discography, he met on stage with Symphony Orchestra of the Ionian Islands and enchanted the audience with a musical dialogue full of passion and quality in the historic Old Fortress of Corfu, in an iconic concert of high aesthetics.

The overwhelming attendance and the warm response of the audience confirmed the power of the artist and the magic of live symphonic music.

Η Symphony Orchestra of the Ionian Islands, under the direction of Ilias Gogidis, delivered the demanding programme with craftsmanship and sensitivity, giving us a performance that honored the artist to the fullest. The Contemporary Music Ensemble enhanced the evening with polyphonic breath, proving the value of the symphonic approach to Greek music.

Miltos Paschalidis gave the audience a deeply artistic and human presence on stage. Accompanied by the Ionian Islands Symphony Orchestra, each song acquired new depth and emotion, illuminating in a different way the words and melodies we loved.

The concert was a cultural highlight for our historic island, and surprised us with the new generation of musicians and their talent.
